‘Self’-remembering

Yogi Simant is the founder of Satbodh Foundation. “Satbodh’ means recognition of that eternal truth around which the whole cosmic world moves. Yogi had strange inclination towards spiritual matrix of life right from his tender age. He wandered remotest regions of hilly terrain to know the connection between nature and divine. By divine grace, he met a realized guru who initiated him in ‘inward journey’. He started practicing yoga and meditation under his guidance to expand his awareness. He learned many secret and mystic mudras, breathing kriyas and meditation kriyas that helps in eliminating egoistic self and stirring higher ‘Self’. He believes that meditation is not an act or thought, but it is a state when you do nothing and think nothing. When all the clouds of thoughts disappear, only then ‘Self’ shines forth at its maximum potential. Then everything you do becomes meditation, and even when you walk, you reflect meditative stance in every step. Now, Yogi wants to share his inexplicable experiences to seekers around the world and dispel their doubts and ignorance related to spiritual life. He has developed innovative breathing kriyas and inner centring techniques to delve deeper into your centre of consciousness to experience all-pervading divine consciousness.

“Consciousness is the attribute of ‘Self’ (Sat or Atma) which remains unchanging amidst ever-changing world. Wherever you see changes is untruth (asat) and which remains the same under all time is truth (Sat). The aim of meditation is to reveal this ‘Self’

Philosophy

Yoga doesn’t mean relaxing body by expansion or contraction or feeling the breath within the breath, but it means experiencing pure universal consciousness (Shiva) within embodied consciousness (jiva). Yoga is spiritual blooming from ‘jiva’ (limited) to Shiva (unlimited). Man is standing between animalhood and divine-hood. One can go either forward or backward. It’s easy to go backward just because you don’t need efforts and your consciousness is familiar with past ‘lives.’

Yoga expands your consciousness and helps in shifting your mind towards the door of eternity where there is no room for fear, hate, jealousy and suspicion. As you take strides toward spiritual path, all the masks of unreal starts falling down on its own. And, at the peak, only Ultimate Truth remains with you. This is not mask, but your ‘real being’, that was with you before birth and is not going to leave you even after death.
