Breath Philosophy

Breath is a natural cycle of inhalation and exhalation. There are two points (inner and outer) where breath stops for split of seconds but still the life continues. The corporal text of Vijnanabhairava reveals that these are the two points where Shakti expresses Herself in form of pulsating prana (vital energy). When breath stops for a moment, mind also stops although it happens for such a short time that you miss the point. Satbodh yoga school trains you how to remain aware at the natural stoppage of breath. Shakti is known to be the Shaiva-Mukhi (doorway to Shiva).

To delve deeper into breath philosophy, Satbodh yoga foundation has intrinsically designed seven-days Shodhan Kriya. This traditional kriya comprises breathing techniques to fill your body with vitalizing energy (prana) to turn your consciousness to new dimension. Under regular yoga teacher training course in Rishikesh, breath philosophy is integral part to physical and theoretical aspects. The purpose of breath control is to bring your mind under control effortlessly and stir the divinity hidden in your essential being.
