At Satbodh Foundation, we believe in transparent, ethical and learner-friendly policy for all yoga aspirants enrolling in either any specific regular YTTC courses, online yoga & meditation, or our flagship programs. By registering for any course at our certified yoga school, you acknowledge and agree to our policies, terms and guidelines. The following policy explains our payment, cancellation, rescheduling, and refund practices. By enrolling in any of our programs, you agree to these terms.

Payment Policy
- A 30% advance payment is required to confirm your admission to any residential program.
- The remaining 70% course fee must be paid on or before the first day of the program unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- For online yoga or meditation programs, the full course fee must be paid in advance.
- Payments may be made through bank transfer, NEFT, UPI, or approved debit/credit card payment methods available at the time of registration.
Cancellation Policy
- If you are unable to attend the program due to unavoidable circumstances, you must notify Satbodh Foundation by email as early as possible.
- Cancellation requests should preferably be submitted at least 14 days before the commencement of the program.
- Your cancellation request should include your full name, program details, registration information, and the reason for cancellation.
Rescheduling Your Program
- If you are unable to attend for reasons other than government-declared emergencies or similar natural disasters, you may request to ‘reschedule’ your admission.
- Subject to seat availability, your registration may be transferred to the same or a similar program within one year from the original commencement date.
- Once your registration is rescheduled, the advance payment becomes non-refundable.
Misconduct
Satbodh Foundation is committed to our core values of maintaining a calm, respectful and inspiring learning environment within and around the yoga school campus. Any participant who engages in misconduct, abusive behaviour, harassment, violence, or actions that disturb the learning environment may be removed from the program immediately. In such cases of misconduct, no refund of any fees paid shall be granted.
Refund Policy
- The 30% advance fee is generally non-refundable.
- An exception may be considered where a program cannot be attended due to a government-declared pandemic, lockdown, or similar unforeseen events, subject to the submission of a written request with supporting details.
Medical Complication
If you are unable to attend the program due to a serious medical condition before the course begins, you may request “rescheduling”. Refund requests will be considered only where required by applicable law or expressly approved by Satbodh Foundation.
Medical Reasons During the Program
If a participant develops a medical condition or sustains an injury during the training that genuinely prevents further participation, Satbodh Foundation may, at its sole discretion, refund 30% of the total course fee paid, provided the participant has already paid the full course fee and appropriate medical evidence is furnished.
Online Programs
Fees paid for online yoga or meditation programs are non-refundable, as access to course materials and instructional resources is generally provided immediately upon enrolment.
Special Circumstances
In exceptional situations such as government-imposed travel restrictions, pandemics, natural disasters, or other force majeure events, Satbodh Foundation may, at its sole discretion, offer:
- A full or partial refund,
- Admission to a future batch, or
- An alternative online learning option (depending on the circumstances).
Governing Law
This Payment, Cancellation, and Refund Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the State of Uttarakhand, India.
